İstanbul Medipol University's Emergency and Medical Aid program opens doors for international students wishing to pursue a career in the rapidly growing field of emergency medical technology in Turkey. This program equips students with the necessary knowledge and skills to provide initial intervention, stabilize, and transport patients and injured individuals to appropriate healthcare facilities in emergency situations. Through intensive practical training and modern simulation laboratories, students are optimally prepared for real-life scenarios.
The program curriculum includes extensive practical training alongside theoretical courses. Students gain professional experience by interning in the university's advanced laboratories and affiliated hospitals. Critical topics such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), trauma management, emergency obstetric and pediatric interventions are focused on. Graduates of the Emergency and Medical Aid program, with the title of 'Emergency Medical Technician' or 'Paramedic', have wide employment opportunities in the emergency departments of public and private hospitals, 112 emergency health services, ambulance services, disaster management centers, and private ambulance companies.
